Ice Cracks

Ice Cracks

The French Pyreneés provide icy wilderness and a magnificent French chateau, setting the scene for this present-day adventure.

While attending an art exhibit at the glamorous Chateau de Burg, Elizabeth Waring tumbles headlong into a trap, set by French detective Etienne Stepiro, to catch a murderer. Forced into a backseat ride for a nightmarish getaway, she finds herself falling into the arms of a wealthy aristocrat and into the line of fire. Elizabeth runs. But escape does not come so easily…from lover or murderer alike.

Crossing the Channel into Britain, she seeks out a childhood friend in a remote coastal village in Scotland, hoping to disappear completely. Her life seems safe until she finds herself under the scrutiny of Jonathan Sullivan, a world-renowned mystery writer, who is quickly enthralled by the real-life mystery that stalks her.

Confronted by him, Elizabeth reveals her story and concedes to Jonathan’s help. But can they, together, find the evidence they need to expose the villain, before the murderer strikes again?
